We are often asked how our team of midwives works at San Diego Midwife.
To be able to best serve you and to have a sustainable lifestyle from being on call 24/7, we work as a team of midwives at San Diego Midwife. You will get to know your midwives very well at each appointment but we do not assign midwives per birth or individual. You are always guaranteed one midwife and one birth assistant at your birth although we love to attend births all together as a whole team as often as we can!
Kashema Finn
STUDENT MIDWIFE
We’re so excited to welcome Kashema to the practice as our student midwife!
She’s been supporting families in birth since 2013, starting out as a doula and now following her calling into midwifery. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Midwifery.
A proud mom of five, her own births, in both hospital and home settings, shaped her deep belief in the sacredness and power of birth. She’s passionate about compassionate, culturally aware care and is especially committed to reproductive justice for BIPOC families.
Whether she’s attending births or running her holistic wellness brand, @loveborn.co, Kashema brings her whole heart to helping families feel seen, safe, and empowered in their journey to parenthood. 💛
